Pamela Manning received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Dietetics from California State University, Chico and a Masters Degree in Nutrition in Health and Disease from the University of New Haven Connecticut. She is a registered dietitian and a current member of the American Dietetic Association Practice Groups - Nutrition in Complementary Care and Diabetes Care and Education. She is also a member of the California Center for Public Health Advocacy's Statewide Network on Nutrition and Physical Activity.
Pamela has had a broad range of work experience in the field of nutrition. She has worked for more than 12 years in the health care industry as a clinical dietitian, director of nutrition services and health educator where she helped others prevent and treat acute and chronic health conditions through use of proper nutrition. As an Adjunct Faculty Member she also taught the subject of Nutrition and Diet Therapy to students interested in pursing careers in the health care field. In addition, Pamela has worked in area of Public Health as a Health Promotion Specialist for the California Diabetes Program, a federally funded program by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, working to reduce the burden of diabetes in the state of California.
Pamela currently works as a Shaklee Senior Health Sciences Manager helping to develop safe and efficacious nutrition products from product concept to launch. Her work at Shaklee includes critically reviewing the scientific literature in support of ingredients for use in new products, development of nutrition product profiles, and providing health education to Shaklee distributors.
